Exercise Is Medicine™ is an initiative of the American College of Sports Medicine calling on physicians to assess and review every patient's physical activity program at every visit. I am a National Leader advocating Health and Fitness for all children and adults. I pledge to support this initiative by encouraging my family, friends, and clients to be physically active at least 30-60 minutes a day at least 3 days a week. I am joining a group of committed physicians, health and fitness professionals, policy makers and advocates, the public, and supporting organizations who are taking action to help all people develop positive health habits that will last a lifetime. Awareness will be increased that exercise is indeed medicine!
